The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adebiyi Daramola has described the First Bank of Nigeria Plc as a socially responsible and dependable partner to the Institution. Daramola said this when the Bank paid the Institution a courtesy visit and donated a brand new Elentra GLS Car for the use of its immediate past Professorial Chair holder in Computer Science who is also the Ag. Dean of the University's Students' Affairs Division, Dr. Kayode Alese. The team Leader Business Development Manager of the bank's Akure branch, Mrs. Olufunke Tolu Akinbogun made the presentation on behalf of the Bank.
Receiving the Car, Professor Daramola said "on behalf of the University Governing Council, Senate, Management, Staff and Students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, we say a big thank you to First Bank of Nigeria Plc for being a dependable ally over the years. We look forward to a better and formidable relationship".
Dean, Students' Affairs, Dr. Kayode Alese who took possession of the car in his expressed delight.
